"Personally, I feel the desire to interpret, express and create from life's explorations, inspirations, and even a frustration is human nature. It is the stimulus that I find liberating and fulfilling, as well as healing and necessary.
"Some of my images begin with a view, some an idea, and others from creative exploration, a study or experimentation. One day may be a walk with camera in hand to see what unfolds and another may be a journey to a planned destination, yet another may be at my feet.
"It is exciting to be able to capture a bit of nature's diversity, either through a macro close-up, or distant mountains, or the lucky snap of a mesmerizing cloud formation. The abstract, still life, sculptured or manipulated pieces encourage interpretation from the onlooker's point of view. I am pleased to share what, and how I see things, which I hope that you, too, will enjoy.
"After decades volunteering and sharing art with children and elders, I enjoy the passionate, inventive nature of an innocent child's imaginative discoveries. In working with elders, it has been gratifying to assist in their creative expressions. Another important area of service has been with animal rescue and care, and through the donations of my work.
"YellowMoon Rising advocates children's education, mentoring, and companion animal partnership, and supports research for a cure for CLL. I continue to support local animal rescue programs with my critter images and designs."
